Turning "Misbehaving" to "Good Material"

I'm even slower than I thought

At least once a quarter I was thinking. But no, it's been nearly five months since my one and only set of entries appeared. But the good news: I'm pregnant so all things slow are forgiven! Seriously, I'm almost coming out of the sleep-whenever-Lina-sleeps-or-when-she-watches-Elmo-or-even-if-I-know-her-breakfast-will-take-awhile phase.

About Nikki

As a California girl, I bought snow boots when I went off to college at Brigham Young University because I had no idea what a plow was. (I thought I'd be cutting my own path.) After I started teaching eighth grade science, my husband and I found ourselves without kids for years. I was so worried I'd never be a mom that I took a writing class to "find something to do." Proving its sense of humor, life sent me five children over the next eight years. I kept writing because my writing group doled out hilarious commentary on our favorite TV shows. Now I've signed with an agent and haunt twitter.
